How to Apply

• Prepare your eyelids - Start with an eyeshadow primer (or a concealer) to help prevent fading and creasing. This gives a smooth base for the shadows to adhere to.
• Select your transition matte shade - Using a fluffy blending brush, pick a mid-tone matte and sweep it into your crease in windshield wiper motions. This will act as your transition colour to help blend other shades seamlessly.
• Deepen the crease / outer corner - Choose a deeper matte and apply it to the outer of your eyelid (outer corner + slightly into crease). Use a smaller blending brush and gradually blend inward so the edges are soft.
• Apply lid colour (matte or shimmer)
• Dry method: Use a flat shader brush to pick up a shimmer shade. Pat it onto the lid area, concentrating most of the pigment in the centre.
• Wet method: Lightly dampen your brush (with water, or a setting spray) before picking up a shade. This intensifies the colour, especially useful for shimmer/metallics - and the palette is formulated to allow even mattes to respond to being used with a damp brush.
• Blend edges - Use the same transition shade (or a clean blending brush) in small circular motions around the edges to soften any harsh lines between shades.
• Add highlight / dimension - Use a light shimmer or even the lightest matte on the palette to highlight the inner corner of the eye and the brow bone. This helps to open up the eye.
• Cleaning up and layering - If there's fallout, you can sweep it away with a clean brush or a bit of makeup remover on a cotton bud. Because the palette is buildable, you can layer more pigment gradually rather than applying too much at once.
